Default Plz Help! N-400 for 14yr old

I got my employment based Green card in June 2007. I have a 14yr old child who is an Indian citizen. Should I apply for my child the N-400 along with mine?

    Thanks

No, you cannot submit an N400 for children under 18. If the child is also a permanent resident and living with you, he/she will derive citizenship automatically the minute you take your oath of citizenship (if this happens before he/she turns 18, of course). You can then apply for his/her passport and/or certificate of citizenship (N600). It is recommended to apply for both, though the N600 costs a LOT of money.

I just wanted to be clear that your son is at present 14 yrs old not in 2007.
If this is the case he is a minor, meaning he is less than 18 yrs old. You dont have to file a separate N400 for him. File your N400 now just make sure you add his name as your child or one of your children. Once you get your citizenship, he will get his citizenship too as a derivative of yours. I have a 16-yr old and we did the same. Goodluck!
