Default Layoff - Should I tell next employer?

I got laid off on 6/8/2012....I have potential two job offers in hand but haven't finalized one yet.

Since I'm (and my dependent wife) is out of status starting now...When I file for visa transfer with either of potential employers; do I have to tell their lawyers that i'm out of status now....I believe that will drive the visa transfer process....

btw..my last paystub is from 5/30..

    Thanks.

Yes. Keep them informed. Otherwise they won't e able to help you in case of an RFE for the latest pay slips.
