Default Wrong Date on GC + Naturalization

I am in process of applying for my naturalization. I received my GC in 2004, however, the card shows the residence since date as 08/23/2001 instead of 08/23/2004. I read on forums that all USCIS cares about is that I have completed 5 years on my GC, which I have ( 2004 - 2009). Its been about 7 years since I received my GC.
The process of applying and receiving a new GC card will push the process by 2-3 months. I would much appreciate an advice on if I should file for my naturalization or wait until I receive my corrected GC even though I have been a PR for last 7 years.

You should be fine without renewing your GC. Just make sure you enter the correct PR status date on your N-400 form.

You can mention this issue to the interviewing officer. I am pretty sure she/he will make a note of it but they will not require you to get a new card.

It should not be a problem. But make sure you tell the immigration officer about this.
