hi everyone i would like to share my story and ask everyone if they see anything wrong in my case. well i came to the US on a student visa in 2006 and fell out of status in 2008 bcause my father was going through tough financial problems. even though he couldnt afford my school fees he continued to send me money every month which kept me from working illegally. i got married to a US citizen back in 2010 and we filed for AOS i eventually got my EAD and we went for our interview in august 2011 with pictures, leases for 2 years, credit cards , and all evidence that we are really together. at the interview the IO was only concerned about me not working she found it odd that i have been living in the US without working but i have proof that i was getting money every month for my upkeep and really did not work. at the end of the interview she took my i94 and said we would hear from her within 4weeks . until today nothing we went to 2 infopass, called the customer service countless times finally put in a service request which was responded to by a "contact us in 6months" letter . i would like to know what you think and tell me if you believe that the fact that i didnt work was the issue at my interview bcause the IO actually said it was weird that i was getting money from my parents. or do u think there is anything wrong. i would like to add that i have no record never arrested so there is no problem regarding all that. let me know ur thoughts and ideas about this case. thank u

A friend of mine is going through the same situation like yours. He was interviewed last year in November. I guess you can't do much except wait.
