    Default separation and citizenship application

    hello,

I have a question.. i have been married for 4 years and have a premanent residence /green card through my spouse who is a citizen. I cameto the US on F-1 visa and adjusted status after marriage. We are at a point where we are considering separation. I have filed for my citizenship and my fingerprinting appt has come for end of June. Is there anything ..like an addendum or something that needs be done to show this information or should i wait for them to ask me during interview?

    thanks much!

Did you apply for citizenship based on 3-year marriage to a US citizen? If yes and your marriage is about to end, I would withdraw the application and re-apply when you fulfill the requirements to apply based on 5-year residency.
