Need information - Property Sale in India

Hi,

I am currently in Kansas City, MO working here on H1B Visa. There is a property in India on my Grand Father's name which we are planning to sell and they are asking all Grand Children's presense and sign infront of them. Could you please help me in understanding what all other options I have got so that I no need to go india for this stuff. (This question may be silly one but I have no idea on this ). Please do the needful. Thanks in advance.
