I am on J-1 visa (alien physician) and will be on this status for the next 3 years before which I will need to apply for a J waiver. I wanted to know if I am eligible to apply for a EB-2 under the 2 categories of exceptional ability or the 5 year National Interest waiver? Will it impede processing of my future DS-2019s or are there any potential obstacles in the future?
