    F1 & 6 years completed on H1

    I want to apply for F1 but I have completed my 6 years on my H1B and my GC is in progress.It will take me another 4-5 years to get GC.Will there be any issue in conversion from H1B to F1?
    I plan to take 1 year sabbatical from my company and after completion of course plan to join back the same company,
