L2-EAD -paper filing procedure

I am on L2,planning to apply for EAD.
Visa expiry(mine and hubby's) Dec 2012
i-94 expiry (mine & hubby's) APril 2015
1) will there be any problem because of visa expiration date??
2) if we do paper filing, do we need to go for biometric in ASC ??I know for e filing the steps are like this -: e-file>>supporting doc mailing >>bio metric ..But nobody tells about paper filing procedure..Can anybody help??
3) do the supporting documents be notarised ??or just photo copies are needed

I have few questions regarding the EAD (L2 visa).
You have mentioned that L2 can be issued untill the L2 - I 94 expiry date or until the L1 petition expiry date, In my case, both the dates are different. L1 and L2 visa are expiring on May 2013 but I-94 is valid until Aug 2015. In my case what would be the EAD expiry date?

2. I am doing e-filling of an I-765 form. There is a question as "Please provide information concerning your eligibility status:".
What information should go here? Do you have any idea?

3.What will happen if I travel out of country before my Visa expires i.e May 2013 and after my EAD is approved. There will be new I-94 on my arrival to US. Will the validity of new I-94 same or similar to my earlier one(Aug 2015) even though my visa in expiring on May 2013. What happens to my EAD in this case if I already have one approved.

Any inputs regarding these questions will be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
