You can attend the visa interview separately. When both of you are in H1B, it is advisable to attend the visa interview separately rather than taking one single interview slot. That way, if there is an issue with the documents for one person, it will not affect the other one.

It doesn't really matter whether you are working for the same company or different company. If you want, you can attend the visa interview separately or together. It is your choice.

We both are working for same organization. Still the answer is no for second question?

Regarding first question.. If I say no..will they cross verify the itenary n ticket from airlines that we both are traveling..

I am trying to understand what they are trying do? Or it is to check dependants?

    >>> Why do you have to lie in DS160. There is no hard in saying YES. Any false information can lead to a life ban.

I am trying to understand what they are trying do? Or it is to check dependants?
    >>> Whatever they are trying to should not be your concern. Answer honestly. Both of you working for the same company and traveling together, but attending interviews separately is not an issue at all.
