Default Lost OPT Card and Im out of USA. How to enter?

    Hello All,

I am into big trouble right now.

My OPT card is lost in mail. I am currently in India and I have to come back to USA to start my full time job.

I have scanned copy of OPT card, approval notice and have other required documents like -
valid visa, passport, I-20 and company offer letter.

    So can I enter USA?
Do they ask for EAD/OPT card at airport?

Please help me guys. Thanks in advance!

Yes you can enter USA as long as you had a valid student visa and i-20 form. No one asked me anything about my opt card when I travel abroad. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I will agree with the above. But keep the copy with you and be prepared to answer questions.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
