Hi all....my son is on a 6 month visa in India. His visa expires in November 2012. Can I get it extended while he is in India? If yes, for how long can it be extended? Is it possible to apply for his PIO card too while he's in India?

It may be extended at the FRRO office or police commisioner's office.
