how long i-134 is valid. DO WE need to get a new i-134 everytime we apply for a visa interview.
we got rejected once in june 2005 and we have an interview in oct'05. can we issue same i-134 we had for the first interview or need to get a new one

There is no specific rule regarding how long I-134 is valid. I think it is OK up to 6 months.

I think it is good upto 6 months to one year. Between my mom's 3rd and 4th apptmt there was 5 month break. I sent her one in march/april and she used the same for her Aug apptmt. She got her visa in Aug...so obviously I think it was still good enough. I did however send her new bank statements.
It is good I guess to always send in fresh set of paperwork as and whr possible..but in cases where u cant', some do hold good for a while.
