Applying for Citizenship for my mom, using an medical waiver (n-648) Help!

Well, my mom has wanted to become a citizen ever since she came to the U.S which was 13 years ago. Unfortunantly, even after going to numerous amounts of english classes she has not been able to learn any english. We recently contacted a lawyer, asking if there is any thing he could do to help us. Ever since my mom was little she has had trouble remembering things and dropped out of school at 5th grade. (she is from Pakistan). The lawyer advised us to file for a medical waiver. So we did. After going to a Physcologist she did say my mom has have some sort of problem. She filled out the form and sent it to my lawyer. After, we filled out form n-400 and paid our fee's. The next step seems to be Fingerprints. But I have no idea what the officer will ask my mom at the interview, and if hopefully the officer will pass me mom. Any Advice? Also I am only 16, is that old enough to become her translator at the interview? I was her translator at the doctor, and it is me who signed as translator on the medical waiver form. Please help. Any Advice? Has anybody gone through this before. Also, just for more info. my mom is 44.
