I-864EZ - Is Form 1040 copy mandatory

We are filing for parents. How critical is Form 1040 if we have pay stubs for several months and W2s for last 3 years and employment letter.

There is some complexity in getting Form 1040.

You can call IRS 1-800 number and request TAX transcript. It is free service from IRS and they will mail you within a week. Then you don't need to produce 1040's. You must send them 1040 or Tax Script to NVC.
