UK and Spain police certificates

Are opened police certificates from UK or Spain invalid? My fiancee's police certificate from UK was addressed to her and she didn't know what it was so she opened it. She says the Spanish one is opened as well. Is this a problem? Thank you!

If you’re referring to the envelope being opened, it’d be strange if it would make the certificate invalid. If the certificate is in a language other than english, the embassy usually requires a translation and it’s difficult to translate a document if you don’t open the envelope it was sent in. I provided a french police certificate without the original envelope and didn’t have any problems at all with it.
