I wanted to know if there is 1-1 mapping between LCA and H1B?
i.e. for every H1B there needs to be separate LCA or one LCA can be used for multiple H1B' (with same location and same job description)?
Please let me know.

What exactly do you mean by one LCA for a multiple H1B petition? why will an employer file multiple H1B petitions for the same employee? What exactly are you trying to ask?
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
Sorry if my question was unclear.
Here is situation,
Employer A has filled 5 LCA's for CITY X while Employer A claims that they have filed 8 H1B's for CITY X.
That's reason I'm confused if I'm getting correct information from Employer A.
well, not sure why it would bother you...if emp A has filed for your H1 wait for it to come through; let USCIS worry about LCAs and job postings![]()
No. However one H1B can generally have multiple LCAs (read ammended LCAs). For ex. if you are here on H1 and your employer has offices in different cities and where you are expected to work in all those cities (on a rotation basis), you will have your LCA for all those cities in place before you can legally work there. LCA is to do with Labor laws. As a basic thumb rule, you cannot work in any city for which you dont have an LCA. An Employer A could have multiple H1 'petitions approved' LCA will be filed only when you are being deployed to that city and where you will be paid a salary.
