Need to travel from a different country to US on F1 visa

Hello,

I got my F1 stamped from US consulate in Kolkata , however currently I am in France on a work permit and I intend to travel to US from France. Can you guys let met know whether it is technically possible to travel from France to US on F1 visa which has been stamped from US Consulate in Kolkata, India.

Of course, if your visa has been granted and you have all the necessary documents, you can enter the US from France.

Assuming other conditions are met, you can travel.
If this is the first time, you cannot travel earlier than 30 days before the start date on your I-20.
