    Default Premium processing timeline

    Hi,

My company is planning to apply for premium processing for my H1 extension.

I wanted to know 15 days time period starts from the date my company submits petition application to US or 15 days start from the date we get receipt notice from consulate?

    Thanks,
    Jenish

    Default Premium Processing

    Hi Jenish,

My new employer just filed my H1B transfer petition, and I'm waiting for the receipt. 15 days of premium processing are from the day you receive the receipt number.

    Good luck!

Even I thought it was 15 business days. But it's actually 15 calendar days.
