L1 B Eligibility for my case

I want to know if I am eligible for L1B in following case.
Till last year, I was working with one service based company here in India and through it I was working with one US based company for around two years. This Indian company is in business with US firm for more than 7 years.
Then I left that service based company and joined some other company.
Now my previous US client (US based Semiconductor Company) is offering a job in US based on my specialized knowledge regarding the work I did for them as contractor one year back. This company has office in India as well. Now as h1B cap is not available for this year, I am exploring for L1B.
As I am not a direct employee of this US firm. Will I be eligible for L1B if I join their India office and immediately apply for L1B? Or do I need to complete one year then only I am eligible for l1B that is next year.
