Passport renewal timeline.

Hello,

I recently sent my application to VFS San Francisco to renew my passport. 2 1/2 weeks have passed and the only update I see (on the passport tracker) is 'Application sent to high commission on 26/7) . I'm not sure what the timeline for the renewal is. Could someone shed some light on this?

Hello,

I submitted my expired passport on April 21st and on May 4th is was referred for clearance. It'll be six months in October and I am still waiting. The call center, VFS Global, isn't helpful at all but I assume it's because they don't have that information. I don't know what else to do. I hope you have better luck than me.
