    Default Parents coming to US

    Hello,

my parents have 10 year multiple entry visas. they came to the US 2 years back and stayed here for 3 months. They are planning to come to the US again for 6 month. Will there be any issues with that? I mean legally they are allowed to visit again, right?

My wife who has a H4 visa will be coming with them. She stayed in the US with me for 1 year and went to visit India. Can there be any issues with her coming back with my parents?

What all documents do my parents and my wife need to carry?

i apologize if I posted my questions in the wrong section.

    Thanks.

Surely they can come. they have a multiple entry visa so why do you have any doubts?
When asked for the duration of stay at entry , should say 4-5 months instead of the full 6 months.
No problems with H-4 wife traveling with them.
No documents needed. Must know your address and phone if asked.

    thanks for the reply.

i was not sure if the second visit has any limitations or issues, thats why i asked.

i was planning to get their return tickets as well, i was thinking to get return dates after 5 months and 3 weeks after their arrival. in that case they cannot say that their visit will be for 4-5 months, right? so what should that say to the immigration officer at the point of entry?

so even my wife does not need any documents with her?

    thanks.

The reason I said not to say 6 months is because that is the max limit they give and they may think someone staying the full limit probably will extend it further and may not want to go back.
Just get a return ticket between 4-5 months. They usually do not check return tickets , but just in case they do.
You can always get the ticket extended later.
H4 wife should carry a copy of your H-1 and an approved petition. Usually they do not ask for that but it helps to carry.

    Thanks again.

Just curious, in a multi-entry visa, how often can one come to the US? Is there a minimum period required between 2 visits?
