Clarity on OCI/PIO

Hi-I think I've understood this right:

I used to be an Indian citizen (now US citizen), I should apply for OCI

My daughter (age 9) used to be Indian citizen (now US citizen), should apply for OCI

My son (age 10) is an American citizen, should apply to PIO?

My wife used to be Philippines citizen (now US citizen) should apply PIO?

We're here in NC-is processing time for OCI 3-4 months and PIO 4-6 weeks?

You and your kids can apply for OCI or PIO, whatever you like.

Your wife - only PIO.

so the smart thing would be OCI for the three of us and my wife is restricted to PIO...
