Default Visitor Visa for Parents & Myself. Brother in US

    Hi

My brother is single and in US since the past 10 years and he has been visiting us every 2-3 years. This year we are planning to visit him. I had applied for student visa 10 years back which got rejected post which I did my MBA and have been working here.

    I have following queries
    1. Should my brother sponsor our trip. If you suggest we sponsor our own trip is there a minimum balance required in account
    2. Does my chance of getting a visa get bleak with my brother in US
    3. Does my past rejection which was 10 years back impact my chance
    4. My mother cant speak English so can I still book a common interview in English and request a translator to visa officer for her
    5. Any specific document I need to carry apart from Income Tax, Bank statement, house agreement, salary slip, letter from employer

Some following facts which may help you advice me better
    - His GC is in process
    - My father recently retired and my mother is a housewife
    - I have done my BE + MBA and have been working in India since over 7 years
    - We have traveled abroad to few SE Asian countries for leisure trips
    - I own a flat in Mumbai and so do my father and brother. Since my and my brothers flat is on loan, I have photocopy of the agreement
    - We will be going to US for 3 weeks
