Driver licence renewal

I need to know if i can renew my DL & ID with my I-797C sent to me by USCIS since i have my AOS application with them or i should wait till i get my EAD......thanks

You need your EAD to renew your DL but check with your local DMV. Here in NY they ask your legal status documents like GC or EAD.
