    Default What is the validity of passport issued through Tatkaal service in India

    Hi All,

    I am applying for tatkaal passport in India. I wanted to know What is the validity of passport issued through Tatkaal service in India? Is it same as normal passport which is 10 yrs?

    I saw somewhere it can be as less as 1 yr. Will 1 yr valid passport be used for H1 B US VISA Stamping?

    Any help/pointers will be appreciated. Thanks.

    It should be the same as normal passport.

    Even if it is one year, there is no problem in H1 visa stamping.
