    Default B1/B2 reapplication after expiry.

    Hai guys,
I would like to share with you my query. I was given a 6 months B1/B2 for attending a conference last year while i was in my college. I had applied to Chennai consulate which was my consular district and I successfully underwent the trip. Now I have got a scholarship to attend a conference in the US this november and I again need a B1/B2. I am presently working in Kuwait and I have got a resident status.
Will I be to utilize the Interview waiver program when I apply for B1/B2 this time?
Myself being an Indian holding an indian passport, Is it judicious to apply at the US consulate in Kuwait? What are my chances of being rejected just because of applying at the US consulate in Kuwait?
    Kindly enlighten me.

    Thanks.

Following my reapplication, I was denied a visa on the 21st of october 2012, at the US consulate at Kuwait. I was denied under section 214(b). I was working in Kuwait since january 2012 and this was the reason the officer told me. I dont think i can reapply again as my circumstances would not change soon. Any suggestions on this.

Well you have been rejected so you most probably will NOT get a visa anytime soon.
