I would like to know that when we have a dedicated travel companion application at http://www.immihelp.com/travel-companion/, why do people continue to post such requests here?
Travel Companion application has been specifically designed for such purpose. You can also get the automatic notification of the matches to you.
If there is anything we can do to improve the application so that it is more useful, please let us know and we will sincerely look into it.

I am actually a newbie so what I can understand from the post is that you mean people are requesting other people to accompany them in travel, like some sort of dating or what? Is that so?
