    Hi,

I am a F4 applicant. My sister applied for me at 2005 when i was unmarried but now i am married. I have a baby. Can i update my marital status now?

Is it possible to bring my family with me at that time when i will get approval or i will have to be wait to get permanent in US for applying my family.

    Please Help

All of your family member's ( Wife ,children and you ) will get visa at same time under F4 category once visa becomes available. National VISA Center will send you form DS-3032 about ~ 9 months before you priority date becomes current. I suggest you to send updated family information at that time. You will need to send NVC copy of your marriage certificate, copy of your children birth certificates and a letter stating that your marital status has changed and you would like to add your children and wife to the petition.

Honestly no one knows how long it will take. My guess is anywhere from 4 to 8 years.
