Default EB3 Visa, ALMOST EXPIRE.PLS advise!

mY vISA is employment based and it will expire too soon. No advice from employer as to date of departure. Will it be okay to travel independently together with my family? I remembering filing the DS230 that I mentioned NONE in the section "Who are you traveling with"

A bit confusing. Assuming you're trying to say "I have an employment-based, EB3 category, immigrant visa on my passport" and "my family members also have their own IV on their passport" and the question is "can we all travel to the USA now on our own dime?" - the answer, generally speaking, would be YES.

Actually, if you're not sure about the future, it would probably be better for you to move to the US now. If your employer was to fire you *once you're in the US*, it's not your fault and your GC would remain valid (but of course, keep copies of all the paperwork, pink slip-related).

Were you to be laid off, or the position on which your IV is based to dissapear with you outside the US, it may be more complex.

As usual, this is not legal advice, nor can be construed/interpreted as such. Consult an immigration lawyer.
