Visa Interview Dates.

Hi,
I want to get visa interview date for my mother.But if I take the appointment online, the earliest date available as of today is March 8th 2005.I have been looking at the estimate of the dates available link for the past 15 days since I stated working on putting together the papers to get her appointment.The dates seem to be going TOO fast.Like I saw 4-5 days being cleared in just 1 day .I have 3 questions:

1)Are really so many people taking visa apointments at the Mumbai counsulate that the dates are moving at that rate?

2)I want her to come to USA ASAP.I would like a sooner date.If I went in person to get the date will it be sooner?

3)Did anyone get an interview date in the past couple of days at the Mumbai counsulate for visitor visa?What date you get??

1. It is really difficult to say what exactly is going on.

2. I don't think so. They use the same system in the center as well.

3. For actual visa applicants to answer.
