Hello,
My wife has been a permanent green card holder for more than two years (not conditional) and I (myself) am now looking at government subsidized healthcare.
Our previous immigration attorney advised us for me to not apply for medi-cal (California State Health Program) or government assisted programs during my wife's permanent green card application. Now that she has been approved for quite some time, she is looking forward to applying for her U.S. Citizenship. With ME applying for medi-cal or obamacare, would this affect her application for U.S. citizenship? Or would she still need another financial sponsor?
