    Default Citizenship Problem

    Hi there,

I applied for the citizenship in August 2004 at san francisco Office and I was fingerprinted in September 2004.Then I was sceduled for the interview in March 2005, at the time interview, I took all the paperwork with me like my income tax returns, copy of my son's birth certificate, my marriage certificate...etc and etc.But the lady who took my interview, didn't ask for anything.I passed the English Test and she gave me a piece of paper saying that you have passed the test, but decision on your application cannot be made yet....After few days, I recieved a letter asking for paperwork...I did provide that on time in March 2004....After that I haven't heard back from them except the responses for my inquiries. They are telling me now that Special Security Check has been performed for my application and as soon as that is done, I will be schdeuled for Oath Ceremony. Its been more than 7 months now and no resposne.

.At the time of filing my applicaiton , I used my sister-in-law's house address as my mailing address and my physical address was different. At the time of interview, I changed my phsicial address to my SIL's house. That means at the time of my interview, my physical address as well as my mailing address was same. Then they transfered my application to Sacramento, CA because my SIL's address was in Sacramento jurisdiction.I think this is what delaying the process. What can I do at this time now?

Please let me know if someone has same kind of experience like me...Any help will be apprecaieted.

    Thanks,
    Harpreet
