Just wanna know you advice or knowledge about this situation:

I was single when I applied for my h1b visa, and i am scheduled for interview, now i just got married will it affect the decision of the consul? Do i need to change my marital status in my passport? Will it have a negative bearing on me?

No need to change marital status immediately in the passport. No negative bearing.
