Hi,
I am eligible to file H1B under cap exempt. I approached a consultancy to sponsor me and all their terms and conditions holds good like the interview arrangements, pay scale etc. except the refundable security deposit of $2000 which they want me to pay before filing my petition which I will get it back once I land in US. They justified it saying it is just to make sure I am not canceling my travel plans after getting visa. Any thoughts to proceed or not.
