Mom's visa got rejected in Chennaii, please help

My mother has visisted US twice both time she had 6 months visa and last time we extended her to stay for 1 year, so she had a interview yesterday, they just asked her why she stayed for 1 year and she said she wanted to see more places and my daughter and son-in-law did not have many holidays, also she could not travel alone as we didn't have holidays to bring her back, thats why she stayed back. and they just said your Visa is rejected, apply one more time... please advice as I am due in February, would definitely need her as soon as possible, i understand there are no appointments in Chennaii, can we take interview anywhere else? if so is it advisable, thanks for any suggestion.

i have also the same situation but i haven't applied for my mom yet dunno still debating, the effort and time is worth it?

I was just curious if anyone knows how to answer these questions next time, could you please let me know, also when will they open Interview dates again. I hope interview dates atleast available in April.
