What do they compare DS160 against to check for correctness?
DS160 data is uploaded to a Department of State computer and talks with US criminal databases. You are being evaluated for crimes on US soil. Sometimes a very common name triggers an alert and they look into if you are the same person or just have the same name. Other data is not cross-checked but please be truthful in responses or the system can be very mean to you.
All the best
Dr. Sandeep Shankar, Colorado Heights University, Denver, CO 80223, USA.
