  • Applying for L1A, but highest qualification is Diploma only

    Hi All,

I have a sound exp of 20yrs in IT industry and currently working as a Program Manager. I'm applying for a L1A Blanket visa now, but my highest qualification is just Diploma (10 + 3). Please let me know if there are chances of rejection because of the qualification. Otherwise, credentials wilse, I have a very good portfolio to showcase to embassy guys.

Other query is, I have a approved B1, but have not travelled to US on this visa yet. Will there be any questions for obtaining a B1, but using it before applying for a new visa category ?

I dont think there is any specific educational requirement for L1A Blanket petitions.

Your B1 and usage/not usage of it, as long as legal and valid one, should not impact the L1 decision.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
