L1A - "1 Continuous Year Outside U.S" Requirement

Dear Friends,

I'm in India currently & I have a question.

We all know that one should have worked CONTINUOUSLY for 1 year outside U.S in the past three years, to be eligible for L1A Visa.

My question is - if I go to vacation for Hongkong for 3 days, is it considered a break in the continuity of 1 year??? Does it break the "CONTINUOUS" status??
