Hi guys!
my name is vinay.
Recently I was involved in the fighting case with a person. I expressed my guilt in front of the police.
but not arrested.because, the person who put up the case, he and me compromised and withdrawed the case.
does the problem cause my citizenship procedure
delayed or denied?
if its not what kind of questions i can expect for homeland security? and what are the suitable answers for them?
pls help me if any one had the similar situation.
Thank you .......
vinay

Arrived 30 minutes prior,
Placed interview letter in the tray,
Waited for 1-1/2 hours,
Lady called me to a cubicle and asked the following questions from the quick civics lesson booklet:
Question numbers: 5, 26, 47, 63 and 88, and asked to write Abraham Lincoln was the president during the great depression.
She took my file back to the office.
20 mins later i was called to the back office by an officer.
Raised hand to tell the truth but the truth, went through N400 application form.
Asked if i brought my marriage certificate and kids` birth certs( Application based on 5 years deal), these certs were not listed on my interview letter. I said NO.
Gave me form N-14 to mail certified copies of the certs. He said oath ceremony will be scheduled after he gets the certs.I ordered them online and still waiting, 10-15 days.
More later.

Can you tell me which USCSI center do you registered for? I am going to apply my naturalization this Friday through the San Jose office. I am trying to figure out the timing for the fingerprint and the interview, since I might need to travel during my application.
If anyone applied their naturalization process recently through the San Jose office, can you post your naturalization progress date.
Thanks
Charles
