H1B, new passport and expiration

So, this is the situation:

I got an H1B in 2012.
My passport expires in november/2014
The H1B visa says that it is valid through september/2014
My I 797 says my H1B visa goes to 2015

Is the visa valid to 2014 because of the passsport expiration? What should I do?

Visas are generally not granted based on passport expiration date. Till when is your I-94 date?
