Hello everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. I attended my M1 student visa interview in Paris, France on 30 June '14 and got a positive response from the VO. My visa was put in administrative processing for about a week before finally being dispatched on 07 July '14. My i20 states that I am supposed to be reporting in my school no later than 09 July '14 but with all this unnecessary delay caused, I could not reach New York before 12 July '14.
My question is - Do I need some extension letter from the school to avoid being questioned by the people at the immigration desk in JFK? Or will it pass off with some kind of explanation?
