Hello,
My father-in-law applied for SB-1 (DS-117) in December 2013 in Mumbai and got the Visa and new Alien number. He was given a sealed packet at the US consulate in Mumbai.
At the port of entry, he handed over the packet to the customs and immigration officer, who told my father-in-law that they will send the papers to the Texas center and that he will receive his green card in mail in 3 months, but it has been 4 months and he still has not received any thing so far.
Could you help us by explaining what you did in your case after you came back to US?
