H4 to F1 status change urgent
Hello,
I am on H4 visa currently.
Me and my husbands' visa expire in Nov 2014.
I have got admission to a university for Masters and have received my I-20.
Now the problem is, he has applied for his extension.
1. I am confused if I should apply for an extension too or should I apply first for my F1.
2. How long can it take for the processing of the H4 to F1 visa status change?
3. If my change is not ready by Nov and my visa expires as I didn't apply for an extension, what happens next?
What would be best for me to do?
Please Help.
