FOR US CITIZENSHIP after giving birth.

Good Day!

I'm just new in this forum.
I got here in US with a K1 visa and now i got married to my husband which is a US citizen and I got pregnant.
Some people told me that I will be automatically be a US citizen after giving birth. We are now in the process of the adjustment of my status here.
Is it true that after giving birth I am automatically be a US citizen as well as my baby? I'm just a little bit concern.

Your baby will be but not you. You will be a green card holder from the marriage. You can apply for citizenship after 3 years of being a green card holder.

Thank You So Much for the response. So I still need to have the normal process for being a US Citizen. Not in just a snap. LOL!
oh so the minimum year is 3years? i thought its 5years. But 3years is more better. haha. Thank You again.
