EAD on I-94

Hi,

Currently I am on L1 visa and it is getting expired in September-2014 but I-94 is valid till May-2017. Last Month I did apply EAD for my wife (L2 visa) and she is yet to get EAD.

Her Visa (L2) as well getting expired in September-2014 with Valid I-94 till May-2017. I have concern about EAD. Please let me know whether she is eligible to work on EAD after September-2014.

visa is for admission to US. Once you are in US, i-94 matters not the visa.
