Hello,
I am a US citizen who married a Ghanaian. He has received his visa to the US and we will be going together on August 28th, 2014. He has been granted one year residency and his social security card and green card are being processed now. After the first year, we will apply for permanent residency and eventually citizenship. I have been in Ghana for two years now, so I am bit out of the loop with Obama Care and the health insurance rules.
1. Is my husband required to get health insurance?
2. What are some good/legitimate health care providers that provide insurance to non-citizen immigrants?
3. What do I need to know about premiums and deductibles?
Thanks in advance
