My mother's trip

My mother will return to the States after 5 months with her 10 years Green Card. She will need to leave again in 2 weeks and her next trip will be 3 months.

She won't have enought time to apply for re-entry permit. Is it ok for her to re enter the States without the re-entry permit?

As long as she is going to return within 6 months of departure, no reentry permit is needed.
