COS H4 to F1 Applied and H4 expiring

Hi,

I have applied for COS H4 to F1 on August 26th 2014 for my wife.

Her H4 status is expiring on Oct11 2014.

As COS H4 to F1 takes minimum 3 months, what should be the status of my Wife after Oct 11 2014.

Should I ask my Employer to extend her H4 simultaneously?.

H4 visa extension applied and now has to apply for COS to F1

Hi,

Could anyone please give your inputs on this. I have joined MS program in August and my H4 visa is going to expire on Nov'14 so we have applied for extension. And I am planning to go for COS to F1 as it will help me to do assistantships and any part time college jobs. But I am worried if I apply for COS is it going to work out as my application for H4 visa extension is under process.
