Job switch on Extended H1B petition

Is it possible to switch job when on a extended H1B petition

My current stamped visa got expired in July this year, but I have got new petition & i94 valid for another 2 year
Is it possible for me to change job on this extended petition, without holding stamped visa ?

If yes, then in that case after switching job when I visit india on vacation, will it be easy to get visa stamped on behalf of the new employer ?

Yes it is possible. There is no problem in changing employer, they would need your current approved I797 copy.

And there is no affect, on getting visa stamped, of changing employer with visa or without visa on passport. There may be other considerations though like new employer, role etc.
